Our team believes that we, as a community, should give back to the organizations that are working to build a stronger and healthier Austin. Every 6 months we select a new community non-profit partner.  During those 6 months, we work to raise awareness about the organization with in store donations and fundraising events. In addition, for every reusable container a customer fills at in.gredients, we donate $.05 to our partner organization, as well as a portion of our sales every First Friday of the month.

The nominees to be our next Community Partner are:

Caritas of Austin – We prevent and end homelessness for people in Greater Austin. We build wellbeing by making sure that people have a safe home, access to healthy groceries, jobs that provide a reliable living wage, and educational opportunities to learn life skills.

Lone Star Victims Advocacy Project – Lone Star Victims Advocacy project educates, advocates for, and provides free legal services to empower immigrant victims in rural Texas. We help immigrant victims and their families recover from abuse, and we connect rural communities to resources and services that help all survivors of crime. Our goal is to change Texas for the better — one family and one small community at a time.

Austin Creative Reuse – Austin Creative Reuse fosters conservation through reuse, education and community building. We collect donated materials that would otherwise go to the landfill and sell them to the community as low-cost creative materials, as well as offering workshops, in-school programs and other community activities.

Boys & Girls Club of the Austin Area – We are Austin’s leading youth development agency devoted to providing hope and opportunity to all kids, especially those who need us most. With 31 Clubs here in Austin and Bastrop, we help over

12,000 kids each year grow into healthy, responsible, caring adults.  With a high concentration of children of color from limited economic resources, BGCAA is ideally positioned to assist youth in improving their educational and social skills, physical health and fitness, and emotional well-being.
