With some gorgeous weather just around the corner, we’re gearing up for our favorite time of year: spring! It’s when our gardens come to life, kids of all ages enjoy the longer days, and families gather in our playground to share in the magic. And, of course, spring in Austin means SXSW. We’re gearing up for our own unofficial showcase, “un.plugged,” three days of acoustic in.sessions from up-and-coming festival favorites doing acoustic arrangements and special sets. As always, we’ve got a nice mix of national bands and some of our local favorites. See below for more info!

Wine of the Week: Becker Vineyards 2013 Iconoclast
This Cabernet Sauvignon is the number one selling wine at Becker Vineyards, and for good reason. The nose on this wine gives off warm spices and a hint of blueberry. The mouth reveals blackberry, dark cherry, and plum. As with every “Wine of the Week,” ask for a taste at the counter and enjoy by the glass in our garden. With a 10% discount by the bottle, you can also take some home with you and share this gem at the dinner table.
Coffee of the Month: Third Coast Coffee Double French
What does it mean to be Double French? Third Coast’s ultimate dark roast doesn’t require the pedigree of a Chevallier-Bardot or the ennui of a Cafe Sartre; it already has all it needs with that smokey and mysterious “je no se qua.” Dark as the existential universe, their Double French Roast would light your cigarette for you (if you smoked, which you shouldn’t).
Are you in.love?
Weekly profiles of some of our favorite regulars
Meet (soon-to-be) Mr. and Mrs. Jones
This week marks a special occasion in the life of not only our store, but also two of our favorite regulars. Erin and Schuyler met here at in.gredients around the end of 2013 and, after a few short months of getting to know each other, soon found love. After some time, Schuyler popped the question to which Erin replied with a resounding “YES!” After a little deliberation, the obvious choice for the venue was in.gredients, where they had made so many memories before. They are an incredibly witty, intelligent, and sensible couple who always find a good way to make one another laugh. We were delighted that they asked us and are excited by the idea of our first wedding on the grounds. This weekend we are proud to usher them into the world – from our humble house – as man and wife.
