Solar-Powered Supertrees

with one comment

82+ feet, solar-powered, vertical-garden “trees”… sounds pretty sci-fi. But Singapore’s made these supertrees a reality in its Gardens by the Bay, an “eco-tourist destination showcasing sustainable practices and plants from across the globe” (CNN). Many of the supertrees will provide solar energy for lighting and water technology for conservatories. Not your typical photosynthesis!
