Beautiful, healthy, and absolutely delicious recipes abound in this two-week “cleanse” from Bon Appétit. Recommended as a way to return to healthy eating patterns for the new year, this plan was designed by a foodie and a nutritionist – and it reconciles both agendas beautifully. What’s more, to make it easy, they’ve put together a complete meal calendar for the entire two weeks (including snacks and dessert), along with a shopping list with exact portions and quantities and directions for how to use all the leftovers. Brilliant!
Brimming with variety, color, and diverse seasonal flavors, it hardly looks like what you’d call a “cleanse.” It’s a fine example that you needn’t sacrifice the pleasure of eating for health – the two are not mutually exclusive!
