with 3 comments

Are you a fan of the mason jar? While originally meant (and still perfect) for canning, the mason jar has so many other great household uses. It’s practical design and charming aesthetic make it a wonderful flower vase, a nice drinking glass, and even a craft storage container (think buttons, sewing supplies, beads, etc…). These are some of the classic uses, but let’s say you have a fleet of unemployed mason jars hanging out in the cupboard – here are some exciting and inventive ways to put them to work!

And don’t forget: mason jars make excellent re-usable containers for food stuffs. Start saving them now to get your goods home safely, without using unnecessary packaging when you shop at in.gredients!

  2. After finishing a truck load of summer farm market chutneys, I’m left with some mason jars to play around with. Thanks for these fab upcycling ideas.
