About Houston Dairymaids
Houston Dairymaids is a five-year-old venture from seasoned cheese professional, Lindsey Schechter. Part business and part exploration, our goal is to meet artisan Texas cheesemakers, learn about their craft, and bring the best of their products to Houston. We look for cheeses naturally made by hand, and, when possible, from unpasteurized milk.
Through our cheese tastings and work with area chefs, we hope to share our experiences while expanding the offerings of specialty foods to our community.

Because it is hand-made, her chevre is creamy, with lovely herbal undertones.
